Determination of Particle Size, Core and Shell Size Distributions of Core–Shell Particles by Analytical Ultracentrifugation

چکیده

In core–shell nanoparticle analysis, the determination of size distributions different particle parts is often complicated, especially in liquid media. Density matching introduced as a method for analyzing nanoparticles using Analytical Ultracentrifugation (AUC), making it possible to obtain core distribution dispersions. For this approach, density dispersion adjusted shell. Oil filled nanocapsules are utilized with component densities around 1 g mL−1 demonstrate technique. The shell calculated supposing convolution shell- and distributions. Finally, size, thickness, thus composition obtained. To clarify effect swelling, AUC measurements combined further characterization methods like Particle Tracking Microscopy Dynamic Light Scattering.
